Naturopathic Medicine

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

As its name suggests, Naturopathic Medicine uses natural therapies to restore health.  It was introduced to America in the early 20th century and is practiced by Naturopathic Doctors (N.D.s) who graduate from four-year post-graduate medical colleges.  There are four naturopathic medical schools in the United States, which train prospective practitioners.  Naturopathic Medicine uses a holistic approach to looking at your health considering all aspects - mental, physical, and emotional - in developing a plan to optimize your health.  Consequently, Naturopathic Medicine is a more patient-focused type of health care allowing the patient to be involved in the healing process.

What is biotherapeutic drainage?

Biotherapeutic drainage is the process of detoxifying the body using specific homeopathic remedies to eliminate everyday toxins that accumulate in the body.  Drainage compounds can be used to remove blockages that prevent the body from healing itself.  They are non-suppressive homepathic formulas derived from both plant and mineral sources.  These formulas are "deep acting" and "able to act on a cellular level."  This unique ability allows for a slower, more gentle, detoxification process.

Services offered:

  • Biotherapeutic Drainage
  • Classical Homeopathy
  • Detoxification Protocols
  • Herbal and Nutritional Supplements
  • Stress Reduction and Lifestyle Counseling
